    How much sun?

For the most abundant blossoms, make sure that your daylilies get plenty of sun, at least six hours per day; the further north you are located, the more your daylilies will benefit from full sun. Darker blossoms will often benefit from some midday or afternoon shade. But the more sun in general, the more blooms your plants

will produce.
